Working together to create a safer, happier world
for our fellow beings.

Update

It is with much regret that, due to a serious illness, the second issue of Animal Ledger has been delayed. I apologise to everybody who has been waiting to receive this second issue. It will be going to print the beginning of October.

Please help the Mountain Gorillas...our friend Sonia will be running in aid of the mountain gorillas on the 26th September. For more information and how to donate, please visit the Great Gorilla Run page on this site.

Blessings Everyone,

This website is dedicated to our fellow beings and how we can create a safer and happier world for them...

The only moments in my life when I have felt truly at peace is when in the company of animals.…be they cats, kangaroos, ducks, penguins, elephants, crocodiles. Animals love unconditionally, they never judge, and are so pure at heart. But sadly a lot of animals are not able to offer this peace their contemporaries give me because they are so traumatised themselves. The position of vulnerability that some find themselves in is abused by the cruelty of humans. Many animals are subjected to torture through laboratory experiments for make-up, household products, and (rather bizarrely) pet food among a few, creating unimaginable pain that they can do nothing to end. Day in, day out, these animals endure merciless experimentation. And if not caged and abused, many animals who believed they were `wild and free` are hunted for various parts of their bodies. The lucky ones die. The unlucky ones are caught, caged, and parts of their bodies removed `as and when` needed. These animals are kept in cramped conditions in inconceivable pain, parts of their body being removed when required. No anaesthetic, no compassion...just excruciating pain, and incredible grief, not to mention the unimaginable fear.

These are the animals that I hope to bring peace to…..the same peace that their free contemporaries give me. This website aims to bring awareness to society of just how appallingly our animals are treated, and to support the organisations that tirelessly work to free and heal these animals, in as many ways as we can... raise money, boycott various food chains and companies who exploit animal testing, write to local MPs… The list of ways in which we can help is endless.  Together we can work to create a safer, happier world for our fellow beings, and raise awareness within society that we are all connected. If we live from the heart, and care for each other and for Mother Earth, the world would be a happier, safer place.

I have now published the Animal Ledger magazine covering the various topics found on this website, plus many more issues. This magazine can be purchased through this site, and soon will be available through newsagent outlets around the country.

This is just the beginning, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you, and to bring about awareness within society of the plight of our animals, and work to a resolution.

With Love and Hope for the Animals,

Suzi xx
